Biography
Christen was born about 1712/13 since 24 years old and not yet legal in summer 1737, even so, he was said to be 36 years old as witness in 1744. His parents were Ole Mogensen Rifsrud and Ingeborg Christensdatter.
Married eldest step-daughter at Vestre Sæter in Vallset about 9 Nov 1734 when her step-father sold him his part of the farm[1] and moved there
Mentioned when her step-father's estate was probated 2 Mar 1735[2]
Witnessed his mother's estate probated 4 Jul 1737[3]
Bought his wife's halfsiblings' inherited parts in Vestre Sæter 26 Jun 1738[4] and was the formal owner from 1738 until his death.
He died at Vestre Sæter before 9 Nov 1761[5]
