Anne Marie Dragvold was born April 1878 at Norway Township, Fillmore County, Minnesota.[1] She was the daughter of Hans Dragvold and Thea Ruud. Mary passed away in Fremont in 1927. She was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in Winona.[2]
She grew up in Norway Township with her parents (and later stepfather Carl Carlson) and nine siblings (including three half siblings).[3][4]
In 1898, she married Theodor Madland in Fillmore County.[5] Together, they had nine children:
