Jons "John" (Olsson) Olson was born on April 24, 1864 in Foglesang, Onnestad, Kristianstad, Sweden. He was the son of Ola Jonsson and Elna Nilsdotter. He was Baptized on April 29, 1864. [1] [2]

Between June 1864 and 1870, Jons was living with his parents Ola and Elna in Foglesang, Onnestad, Kristianstad, Sweden. On June 23, 1865, his mother Elna gave birth to his sister Anna (Olsson) Olson; on December 18, 1866, his mother gave birth to his brother Nils "Nels" (Olsson) Olson; on October 17, 1868, his mother gave birth to his sister Elna Olsson; and, on November 20, 1870, his mother gave birth his sister Hanna "Hattie" (Olsson) Olson. Between 1871 and 1876, Jons was living with his parents Ola and Elna, his brother Nils and his sisters Anna, Elna and Hanna in Foglesang, Onnestad, Kristianstad, Sweden. On October 29, 1872, his mother Elna gave birth to his sister Thilda (Olsson) Olson; and, on November 3, 1875, his mother gave birth to his brother Sven (Olsson) Olson. [5]
Between 1877 and October 1883, Jons was living with his parents Ola and Elna, his brothers Nils and Sven and his sisters Anna, Elna, Hanna and Thilda in Foglesang, Onnestad, Kristianstad, Sweden. On December 2, 1877, his mother Elna gave birth to his brother Otto Olsson; and, March 20, 1883, his mother gave birth to his sister Emelie Olsson. On November 15, 1881, Jons moved to Ullstrop No.1, Onnestad and returned to Foglesang on November 14, 1882. [6]
On October 28, 1883, Jons moved from Foglesang, Onnestad, Kristianstad, Sweden to Navlinge, Kristianstad, Sweden. [7] On November 19, 1883, Jons arrived in Navlinge. [8]
Between November 1883 and April 1884, Jons lived in Roe No. 2, Navlinge, Kristianstad, Sweden. [9]
On April 28, 1884, Jons left Roe No. 2, Navlinge, Kristianstad, Sweden for Malmo, Malmohus, Sweden. [10] On April 30, 1884, Jons left Malmo for New York, New York. [11] He traveled with his sister Anna and his brother Nils and their final destination was Waterville, Marshall, Kansas.
In 1887, while Jons was living in Marysville, Marshall, Kansas, his first cousin Ola (Olsson) Martinson, Ola's wife Hanna Qvant and their children John (Olsson) Martinson, Anna (Olsdotter) Martinson, Carl "Charles" (Olsson) Martinson, Hanna "Hattie" (Olsdotter) Martinson and Clara (Olsdotter) Martinson and his sister Hanna "Hattie" (Olsson) Olson immigrated to the United States and upon their arrival, they stayed with Jons.
In 1889, John went out to Denver, Denver, Colorado, where he died soon afterward of typhoid fever. [12]
