Nannie was born 30 October 1890 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania.^[1] She was the daughter of John Onell and Margaret J. McMannis.

She married Carl Herman Carlson circa 1915, probably in Pennsylvania.^[2]

Nannie died on 19 December 1986 in Santa Clara County, California.^[3]
