MAZIE HEBETS, 84.
Mazie E. Hebets, 84, o f 712 Gardent St., Titusville, died at 8:15 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 1998, at her home following a brief illness.
Mrs. Hebets was born Feb. 15, 1914, in Southwest Township, Warren County, to Orlando and Effie Phelps Train. (sic, should be Ongley).
She married Gerald M. Hebets on July 28, 1934, in Warren. He died Feb 9, 1994.
Mrs. Hebets had attended school in Selkirk.
She wasa a member of Titusville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and was active in many of the church's charity programs.
Mrs. Hebets was a former member of Grand Valley Grange and enjoyed quilting and being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving aer the follwoing childred: Roland Hebets of Grand Valley, RD1; Mrs Thomas (Charlotte) Hoban and MRs. Robert (Patricia) Erickson, both of Titusville; Mrs Lowell (Phyllis) Weidner of Spartansburg, RD 2; and Glenn Hebets of Waterford. Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Two sons, Melvin and Dennis Hebets; a great-granddaughter, Naomi Hebets; and the following brothers and sisters, Robert Ongley, Henry Ongley, Leo Ongley, Milton Ongley, Zetta Maynard, Mabel Wheatall, Treva Ongley, Trevore Ongley and Elmo Ongley, died previously.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Titusville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church with Rev. Raymond Droll, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Excelsior Cemetery, Eldred Township, Warren County.
Memorial donations may be made to Titusville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 520 W. Central Ave.

The funeral for Mazie E. Hebets was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug 25, 1998, in Titusville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church with Rev. Raymond Droll, pastor, officiating.
Mary Kirk was interpretoer for the deaf. Lila Burrows and Yvonne Warner were pianists.
Interment was in Excelsior Cemetery with the following pallbearers: Douglas Weidner, Macus Weidner, Melvin Hebets, Craig Hebets, Kenneth Hebets and Allan Erickson. Honorary pallbearers were Rodney Weidner and Harold Hebets.
Relatives attending were Mr. and Mrs. Roland Hebets of Grand Valley, RD 1; Mr. and Mrs Thomas Hoban and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Erickson of Titiusville; Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Weidner of Spartansburg, RD 2; and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Hebets of Waterford.
Additional relatives, including grandchildren and great-grandchildren, attended from Townville, Titusville, Oil City, Centerville, Pittsfield, Franklin, Corry, Meadville, Youngsville, Racle, Az. and Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, Ind.
