Biography

James Onions was the fourth known child of George Onions and Diana (Williams) Onions.^[1]

Birth

He was born in Bilston, Staffordshire, England and was baptised 1 February 1824 in the Parish Church of St Leonard, Bilston.^[1]

Marriage

James Onions and Ann George were married 19 May 1850 at Christ Church, West Bromwich, Staffordshire.^[2]

Probate was granted 15 December 1893 to Thomas Onions and William Minshull.^[9]

• Not identified Mary Onions who seems to have cared for James and his siblings after his father died.
• Death registration index has age of 59 years. Assumed to be an error.^[11]
• William Minshull is husband of Clara Onions.
