She married Peter Parsons in St Agnes on the 9 Apr 1839. [2]

Married At St Agnes by the Rev George Bellamy, Mr Peter Parsons Wesleyan Minister to Miss Amelia Opie only daughter of Mr Edward Opie of that place and sister of Edward Opie Esq the distinguished artist.
In 1841 Amelia age 30 is living in St Just, Cornwall with her husband Peter Parsons 30 and son John 1. [3]
In 1851 Amelia age 42 is living in St Just, Cornwall with her husband Peter Parsons 40 and children John 11 Ann 9 James 8 Amelia 5 and Edward 1. [4]
In 1861 Amelia age 52 is living in Marazion, Cornwall with her husband Peter Parsons 50 and children Anna 19 Amilia 15 and Edward 11. [5]
In 1871 Amelia age 62 is living in Melksham, Wiltshire with her husband Peter Parsons 60 and daughter Annie 25. [6]
Amelia died age 70 and was buried 15 Feb 1877 in St Gluvias, Cornwall. [7]
