She married Thomas Barker 27 Jun 1825 in St. Editha, Tamworth, at the age of abt. 17.
She married John Overy 12 Mar 1832 in St. Editha, Tamworth.
In 1841, John Overy (30 b Warwickshire), was in a household at George Street, Tamworth, "Warwickshire". Also present were Martha Overy (30 b Warwickshire), Susannah Orme (15 b Warwickshire), John Barker Overy (14 b Warwickshire), Thomas Barker Overy (12 b Warwickshire), Joseph Barker Overy (10 b Warwickshire), Hannah Overy (4 b Warwickshire), Mary Ann Overy (2 b Warwickshire), and Martha Overy (0 b Warwickshire).
In 1851, John Overy (41), a "Labr Coal Field" was head of household at George Street, Tamworth. Also present were his wife Martha Overy (42 b. "Milnecote", Warwickshire), children Hannah Overy (14) a Silk Winder, Mary Overy (12) a Silk Winder, Emma Overy (5) and Frank Overy (3). In addition his sons-in-law (stepsons) John Barker (24), a miner and Thomas Barker (22), a Bricklayer Labr, from Martha's previous marriage. All present (except Martha) were born in Tamworth, Staffordshire.
