Son of Orm Jonson Hauge and Britta Olsdatter Øvre Berge. Husmann at Runnane, Seim.
Married to Kirsti Njeldsdatter (1752-1840). Children:

The Census of 1801 lists Ole Ormsen (50) and Kristine Nielsdatter (48) as living at Grytten farm in Røldal.[4]. At the time they have two children living with them, Kirstine (11) and Orm (7).
