Samuel was born in 1780.
Samuel, of Woodville, married Sophia Hungerford, daughter of Thomas Hungerford, of The Island, on 5 August 1805.
Children
- Richard Hungerford b. 11 April 1807, married Frances Diana Herbert, daughter of Rev. Bastable Herbert, of Brewsterfield, on 16 August 1832.
- Thomas Hungerford, M.D., b. 13 June 1810, married Margaret Augusta Owen on 18 August 1836.
- Sophia Anne Maria Cranfield Hungerford married George Beamish in 1830.
