Lodawick Orr
He was the second husband of Nancy Thompson, widow of Isham Green.[1] He served in the military during the War of 1812 as a private in Capt. Jeptha Norton's Company of South Carolina Militia, and Cpl in Austin's Regt of South Carolina Millitia.[1]
He signed as a witness on a deed recorded 04 Feb 1828 in Pendleton District, South Carolina Deed Book S page 219 wherein Charles Verner of Pendleton District sold to John B. Chapell of same place, on 17 Oct 1821, 116 acres bordered by John Ledbetter, Matthew Martin and Sessawine Dobbins, for $580.[2]
Lodawick died 18 May 1826 in Pendleton County, South Carolina.[1]
