Biography

Amelia, aka Millie, was born about 1857. She was the daughter of John Orr and Susan Forth.

Her father passed away around 1857 to 1858 and her mother remarried to William Chapman about 1858. She was living in Wayne county, Illinois in 1860 with her mother and brother James and sister Margaret, her step-father William Carroll Chapman, and her half-brother John Chapman.^[1] She was listed as Millie J. Chapman in 1870.^[2]

She married Beverly Britton Branch before 1877. They had three children.

They were on the census in 1880 in Hickory Hill, Wayne, Illinois with their oldest daughter Maranda Alice Branch.^[3]

She married James Lafayette Hollingsworth on 25 June 1903 in Wayne county, Illinois.^[4]

They were living in Hickory Hill, Wayne, Illinois in 1910.^[5] James passed away there in 1916.

She married William H. Myers on 11 Apr 1918 in Marion county, Illinois.^[6] They lived in Wayne township, Wayne, Illinois in 1920 and 1930.^[7][8]

William passed away in 1935.

In 1940, she was living in Aurora, Kane, Illinois with daughter Frances and her husband Charles Brewer.^[9]

She passed away in 1943 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois.^[10]
