Biography

Julia was born about 1824. She was the daughter of Thomas Orr and Elizabeth Jones.

She married Alfro A. A. Smith Petit on 19 May 1844 in Pike county, Illinois.[1] Alfro was a physician from New York. They had two children.

They were in Pike, Illinois in 1850.[2]

They divorced by 1856 (year of his marriage to Carrie A. B. Anderson). She was keeping a boarding house in Quincy, Adams, Illinois in 1860.[3]

In 1870, Julia and son Rosalvo Petit were living with her parents Thomas and Elizabeth Orr in Kinderhook, Pike, Illinois.[4] She was living with Rosalvo and his family in Kinderhook in 1880, 1900, and 1910.[5][6][7]

She passed away in 1912 in Pike county, Illinois.[8]
