In 1810 in Spotsylvania, the only land holder named Bowen in the census was Burkett Bowen in Fredricksburg Township. He did have a minor female on his census. He was constable of Fredricksburg in 1809, and died in 1812. A Jane Bowen administered his estate, presumably his wife. No further information is known at this time.
