John Orr was born in Ireland.

John was born in 1823. Son of Robert Orr and . . . .

John W Orr, farmer from Richhill, son of Robert Orr (farmer), married Rachel Orr from Ballymagerny, both full age, daughter of William Orr (farmer), on 8 January 1852 at Loughgall, Armagh, Ireland. Witnesses James and Jacob Orr. [1][2] [3] [4][5]

The Orr family emigrated from Ireland and settled in Illinois, United States about 1871.

On 1 June 1880 the Orr family lived in Church St, Capron, Boone, Illinois, USA. [6] John Orr (50) Farmer with wife Rachel Orr (45) and children James (20), Jane (18), Mary (16), Sarah (14), Robert (13), Maggie (9) & Fannie (8).

He passed away in 1896 and was buried at the Dunham-Chemung Cemetery. [7]
