George Orr was born in Ireland.
George was born 11 August 1867 at Lisnamorrow, Artrea, County Londonderry. He was the son of James Orr and Rachel Bell. [1]
In 1898 George Orr of Lisnamorrow, father James Orr, married Maggie Leslie of Derrygarve, father William Leslie at Union Road Presbyterian Church, Magherafelt. The witnesses were Robert Mason and Margaret J.H. Orr. [2]
In 1911 the family were living in Lisnamorrow, George 42, his wife Maggie 31, and their children, William Leslie 12, Annie Elizabeth 10, Gretta Jane 7, Robert James 3, Thomas George 8 months. [3]
