Biography
Louisa Orsman was born in 1866 in Nelson, New Zealand. Her parents were William Orsman and Elizabeth Johnston [1].
In 1876, the Nelson papers show a Louisa Orsman receiving awards at Toi-toi valley school [2].
Louisa married Henry Edgecombe Harris in 1855 in Wanganui and they had six children: 5 sons and 1 daughter. Henry was the fifth son of SG Harris of Wanganui [3].
She passed away in 1944 in Eltham, Taranaki, New Zealand [4].
