Hi Linda. Sorry I did not reply sooner. I just did not see your message. I think we are more like 3rd cousins twice removed. Anyway we are related.

Hi Linda, thanks for the note about the Lowe family. I'm still at a brick wall with the John Lowe that married in to the Meares family I research You can read about that in this G2G post https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/334166

If you can provide any insight in to the family of John Lowe who ended up in Pinellas County, I'm all ears.

Hello Linda. Thanks for the message. Nice to meet another Lowe cousin. We have many Lowe and Keys cousins on Wikitree. Best regards.

Have you had your DNA tested? We should belong to the same Maternal DNA haplogroup.

Hi!

Just a heads up that we're receiving bounce notices from your email account. Our newsletters aren't making it through very well because your inbox is over quota. We appreciate you looking into the situation.

My brother just died of lung cancer and he never smoked

Please if you are a relation you might get a chest X-ray. Steve never smoked and we don't have a clue why he got lung cancer. For lung cancer there are no warning signs until it's too far along. I feel it's important to share. He just missed his 60 the birthday. I had a chest X-ray and I am fine. This is the Higgs /Lowe family met and married in Key West 1800's Lowes of Bahamas and Higgs of Bermuda! God Bless!

Hi, Linda! Catherine (Lowe) Thompson is my great grandmother. I am working on adding more of the descendants of William and Eliza (Albury) Lowe on WikiTree, along with a lot of other Conch families. Nice to meet you!

You might want to set your Privacy to Private with Public Family Tree. The WikiTree programming needs to see your Family Tree tab to make DNA and other cousin connections for you. If you want to use the Confirmed with DNA notation, you should use the Public Biography AND Family Tree so that the explanation of your triangulation method is publicly displayed.

Please take a look at my profile http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Cooper-1 where I use Private with Public Biography AND Family Tree to see a list of some of my WikiTree cousin connections and my list of U.S. Presidential cousins.

I am puzzled by the community of wikitree members. Maybe I've had bad luck connecting with those of you who are eager to learn and share meaningful exchanges .

I haven't closed my account just yet thinking that maybe it was just a select few who caused this unfortunate impression. Would so love being proved wrong!!! Linda

Thanks, Linda, for the kind award/thought. I didn't get it because my profile is Cooper-1. You set it for Smith-1. But it is the thought that counts. Thanks! Kitty
