DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Stephen by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Stephen:
Kieth, I've proposed a merge of Osborne-1176 and Osborn-1176. Please approve this asap so that we can make other necessary corrections to Jonathn's children/ancestors.
Osborne-1176 and Osborn-1176 appear to represent the same person because: They are the same person. When Kieth Osborne added "Osborne-1176. I've documented his line. Kieth descends from Stephen's son William and I descend from son Alvin.
My mistake!! Osborne-2732 and Osborne-1176 are NOT the same person. They have different children, different wives. The parents came only after the merge. The Birthdate for Stephen Osborne-1176 must be incorrect. The Osborne-1176 and Osborn-1176 need to be uncoupled.
Osborne-2732 and Osborne-1176 appear to represent the same person because: These are the same person. Keith added his tree and now it needs to be combined with the larger Wikitree. After Stephen is merged, we need to merge his son William (Osborne-2159 and Osborne-2731)
This article provides guidance for connecting DNA tests to Wikitree, if needed.
