Biography

Eleazar was born in 1716. He passed away in 1788.

"Eleazer Osborn, son of David, was married June 29, 1738, to Hannah Bulkley, and their children were Eleanor, born April 11, 1739; Sarah, May 27, 1741; David, September 3, 1743; Gershom, April 23, 1746; Hannah, November 21, 1748; Grissel, March 14, 1751; Ellen, December 18, 1754; and Ebenezer (no date given). The father of this family died May 20, 1788. He served as a lieutenant in the French and Indian war."[1]

His will is dated 30 July 1787 and proved on 2 June 1788 in Fairfield.[2]

His inventory was completed on 11 December 1812 after his widow's death.[3]

Shortly, after his widow Hannah died in 1812, his estate distribution was recorded and set out to David Osborn, Gershom Osborn, Ebenezer Osborn, Sarah, wife of Nehemiah Burr, Grizzel Osborn, Hannah Osborn, and Ellen Osborn.[4][5]
