Thomas was baptised 22nd April 1821 at St. Thomas the Apostle, Navestock, Essex, England, the son of John OSBORNE (labourer) and mary OSBORNE, of Navestock[1]

Thomas OSBORNE married Anastasia DOE 12th October 1842 at St. Thomas the Apostle, Navestock, Essex, England. Thomas OSBORNE, 23, bachelor, labourer of Navestock, son of John OSBORNE (labourer) & Anastasia Doe, 22, spinster, servant, of Stapleford Tawney. Witnessed by Mary JUDD & John OSBORNE[2]


Thomas OSBORNE married Susanna Lett EVANS 4th November 1877 at St. John, Southwark, Surrey, England. Thomas OSBORNE, aged 55 years {b. 1822}, widower, labourer son of John OSBORNE (labourer) & Susanna Lett Evans, aged 57 years, widow, daughter of Samuel SOLEY. Witnessed by W. GREGORY & Eliza HAVILAND[3]

Thomas Osborne, aged 60 years {b. 1821} died 28th October?[4]1881[5] at Havering atte Bower[4] Essex, England.

"SUDDEN DEATH AT HAVERING - On Friday morning, a labouring man named Thomas Osborn , who had been engaged on the Havering Park Estate as night watcher, died very suddenly. It seems that as Osborn, in company with a fellow servant, was about his duties at 3 O'clock, he suddenly fell forward on to his knees and exclaimed "O my head." His companion, being unable to get any reply from him immediately went for assistance, and Osborn was conveyed to his own cottage in the village, where he died before medical assistance arrived. He was 61 years of age. Death due to apoplexy."[4]

He was buried 3rd November 1881 at St. John the Evangelist, Havering Atte Bower, Essex, England[6]
