Biography
Nancy Elizabeth Osborne, daughter of William Osborne and Delila (Price) Osborne, was born about 1840 in North Carolina. Her death certificate shows a date of 4 Oct. 1833, the 1860 census has her age as 19 which corresponds to the 1850 census with her parents that are identified in her death certificate.[1][2] She appeared on the census of 9 Nov. 1850 in the home of her parents at Ashe County, North Carolina.[3]
She married Alexander Greer son of Alexander Greer and Lyddia Elizabeth (Curd) Greer, [1][2]
She and Alexander appeared on the census of 31 July 1860 at District 9, Johnson, Tennessee.[4]
Nancy died on 15 Oct. 1934 at Johnson County, Tennessee and was buried at Greer Cemetery, Johnson County, Tennessee. [1] Her memorial has a photo of her headstone, a copy of her death certificate and links to those of family members.[2]
