I'm showing different dates and locations on the FindAGrave.com website. The spouse's name is the same and only one child's name is the same. Other children are missing. Here is the Source I'm referencing https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/83718008
I have a Caleb Osborne, Jr. as the father of Stephen, and am of the opinion based on my research that Caleb Osborne came down to Rowan, N.C. from Elizabeth, N.J. and is of the Ashford, Kent Thomas Osborne family that were early settlers of New Haven, CT and East Hampton, NY before settling in Elizabeth and moving on. Would love to participate in further research along these lines. I am of the opinion that this Jonathan Osborne/Gretta Holman origin is a fabrication that has spread far and wide in genealogical circles online.
