Levi was born in 1884. He was the son of George Osborne and Polly Gobble. He passed away in 1950.

In 1900 George age 49 and Polly (Gobble) Osborne age 49 live in Blackwater, Lee Co., VA. George owns the family farm. Children in the home are; Bird, age 20, Levi, age 16, John age 9. Also in the home is a servant, Mary Wyatt, age 57, she is listed as a cook. Jessee, age 75, is listed as widowed and living with George and Polly (Gobble) Osborne.
