Stephen Osgood was the 5th child of John Osgood. He is listed as "of Andover, Massachusetts, b. circa 1638 in Ipswich or Newbury; d. 15 January, 1690-1691; m, 24th October, 1663, Mary Hooker.

Stephen Osgood, b. 11th March, 1665; d. 1st October, 1667.
Hooker Osgood, b. 24 Aug 1668; d. 29 Jan 1748
Stephen Osgood, b. 16th August, 1670; d. 1749
Joseph Osgood, b. 1st June, 1673
Mary Osgood, b 23rd December, 1677; d. 4th March, 1677 or 1678.

From A Genealogy of the Descendants of John, Christopher and William Osgood: II. 6 Stephen Osgood (John), of Andover, Mass., farmer, born about 1638 in Ipswich or Newbury; died of small pox, 15 january, 1690-1; married 24 October, 1663, Mary Hooker. Children: Stephen; Hooker; Stephen; Joseph; and Mary. Stephen Osgood took oath of freeman at Andover, 19 May 1669. His will is dated 13 january, 1690-1, and was proved 31 March, 1691. [2]
