John married Mary (Hall) Osgood, the daughter of Jotham Hall and Elizabeth Saxton, marrying in Connecticut on January 16, 1793[3] and having six known children together. John and his family made their home in Berlin Township, Connecticut.[4][5][6][7]
Deacon John Osgood passed away in New Britain, Connecticut at the age of 82[8][9][10] and is buried at Fairview Cemetery in New Britain.[11]
