Biography
Jonas was born on Sept. 22, 1790. He married Melinda Rice on July 25,1813. They had the following children; Mary P. (b. June 3,1816) who married James Cook of Eaton, Harriet M. (b. Feb. 8, 1820, died 1866) who married Craig Cook of Eaton, Jonas F. (b. July 25,1823), Hollis (b. Jan.20, 1830) and Levi (b.Sept. 18,1836) who married Harriett Garvin. Jonas Osgood passed away in 1865.
