Frances was born on 12 July 1835 in Snapping Shoals, Newton, Georgia. She was the daughter of Jesse H. Oslin and Abigail Cowan (Smith) Oslin.[1]

In the 1850 census Frances (age about 15) was living in Ringold, Walker, Georgia, USA.[1]

In the 1860 census Frances (age about 25) was living in Calhoun, Gordon, Georgia, USA.[2]

In the 1880 census Frances (age about 45) was living in Monticello, Johnson, Kansas, USA. Marital status: Married. Relation to Head of House: Wife.[3]

In the 1920 census Frances (age about 85) was living in Olathe Ward 2, Johnson, Kansas, USA. Marital Status: WidowedMarital Status: Widow; Relation to Head of House: Mother.[4]

Frances died at the age of about 90 on 19 February 1925 in Olathe, Johnson, Kansas and was buried in Olathe, Johnson County, Kansas, USA.[5]
