Jeremiah Osman, 89, passed away peacefully on 17 January 1926 at Butler, Bates, Missouri. He was born in Centre County, Pennsylvania on 9 October 1836, a son of John Osman, 1794-1875 and Elizabeth (Fleisher) Osman, 1805-1875. He married Mary Ermeling about 1860. Mary died in 1867 and he then married Lydia Kopp on 4 July 1872 in DuPage County, Illinois.
Mr. Osman's survivors were his second wife, Lydia, b. 1840; and daughter, Rose May (Osman) Worst, b. 1863.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; first wife, Mary, 1835-1867; son, Herman Osman, 1865-1911; and siblings, Mary Ann (Osman) Rhue, 1825-1906; Mary Amanda (Osman) Auman, 1827-1901; Uriah David Osman, 1831-1897; Daniel Osman, 1840-1863; and Catherine (Osman) Musselman, 1840-1917.
Jeremiah is buried at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Bates, Missouri, plot: Section 8, Block 85. The findagrave memorial ID is 103309573.
