The baptism of Ariaantjen, daughter of Gysbert Oosterhout and Marretjen Bogaart, was recorded in the Reformed Dutch Church of Kingston, New York, on 9 March 1712. Witnesses were Tjerk Mathyssz and Ariaantjen Oosterhout.[1]
Jan de Wit, j.m., born under the jurisdiction of Kingstown, and Ariaantjen Oosterhoud, j.d, born under the jurisdiction of Raysester (Rochester) and resid. under the jurisdiction of Katskil (Catskill), and the bridegroom under the jurisdiction of Kingstown, registered marriage banns in the Reformed Dutch Church of Kingstown, New York, on 26 September 1731.
