Biography

Hanna was born in September 1836 in Hanover, Chautauqua County, New York.^[1] She was the daughter of John Pawling Ostrom and Anna (Van de Bogert) Dingman, ref name="1870 census"/> Hanna Olida was named for her grandmothers, Hannah (Van Kleek) Vandebogert (1778-1842) and Alida (Pawling) Ostrom (abt.1780-aft.1850) AKA Olida.

In 1840 Hanna was living at , Hanover, Chautauqua, New York, J. P. Ostrom, 1M under 5, 1M 10-15, 1M 40-50, 1F under 5, 1F 5-10, 1F 15-20, 1F 40-50.^[2]
