Event: Obit Note: Emma M. Fiebrich, 96, of String Prairie, 96, died Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011. She was born in String Prairie on Dec. 10, 1915 to Theresia and Joseph J. Ott. She was the youngest of five girls. Her sisters included Martha Segel, Annie Bartoskewitz, Hattie Grohman, and Ella Ott. She married Johnnie Fiebrich on Jan. 7, 1936. He preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 1992. She is survived by her daughter, Betty, and son-in-law, J. C. Rabel of Rosanky. She also had two granddaughters and two great-granddaughters. Services were Wednesday, Dec. 21 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in String Prairie with burial following at St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation 3 p.m. today, Marrs-Jones Funeral Home, Smithville. Rosary 7 p.m. today, St. Mary's Catholic Church, String Prairie. Services 11 a.m. Wednesday, St. Mary's. Burial St. Mary's Cemetery.
