Kitchibashigigan and Me sa sa were brothers of the Ottawa nation. Me sa sa's unnamed wife was a Shawnee Kishpoko who was born in 1755 and was of the same clan as Tecumseh. After Me sa sa's death in 1794, during the Battle of Fallen Timber, it has been reported that Kitchibashigigan took custody and guardianship of Sai Sai Go No Kwe, daughter of Me sa sa and his Shawnee wife. Sai Sai Go No Kwe was born in 1783 in what is now Ohio. At the time of her father's death she would have been age 11 years; however, it is not known when her mother died. At the time of Me sa sa's death, his wife would have been age 39 years. Therefore, I suspect that Sai Sai G No Kwe went to live with her uncle, Kitchibashigigan, following her mother's death. There is no documented proof of her mother's date of death. Sai Sai Go No Kwe (Woman of the Fallen Snow) married Etienne Rocbert de la Morandiere in about 1800 at Kalamazoo, Michigan. Thereafter, she lived in a Métis environment. Some of this information is family oral history and some of this information was reported by author, Don Greene, in Shawnee Heritage X Surnames S&T 1700-1750.

Where is the actual documentation that supports this (not undocumented web sites)?

And this is also Shawnee?? Please update the LNAB to Shawnee so that it is searchable in the database and easier for others to find and research.

Thank you.
