Francis was born about 1802.

His son Robert Henry married at the British Consulate in Geneva, Switizerland on 2 Jun 1880. Francis is named as the father and his profession is given as Proprietor^[1]

Francis died on 5 July 1875 in Lincolnshire, England and their estate passed probate on 30 August 1875 in Lincoln. ^[2][3]

The probate was granted to two sons, Robert Henry was described as a Gentleman of Bristol.
