Very few sources are listed. In an email exchange, Rainer said that he got his Waldzell information by visiting the Catholic priest in Waldzell and examining in the church records before they were moved to the Würzburg archive. Subsequent examination of some of the microfilmed Waldzell church books confirmed data provided in this report. The researcher said "he did a good job". Much of the Waldzell information was also corroborated by Ingrid Werthman, a Waldzell resident, interested in family history.
