Biography
Josephine Adell Otto was born on 16 Apr 1901 in Otsego, Allegan County, Michigan, the daughter of Charles Albert Otto and Millie Leah Lamb.
Josephine is 9 years old and living in her father's household when the US Census was taking in 1910 for Otsego, Allegan, Michigan on 6 May 1910.
When she was 17, Josephine married Howard F Dean on 28 Feb 1919, in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo County, Michigan. He was the 20 year old son of Robert Dean and Ollie Keller.
On the 1910 Census for Kalamazoo Ward 5, Kalamazoo, Michigan, Josephine Dean in living with her mother and stepfather. She reported that she was divorced at that time but she did not file for divorce until 1926. The divorce was granted on 23 Mar 1926 in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. There were no children.
On 11 Dec 1926, Josephine Adell Otto, a single 25 year old married George Eugene Standley. He was the son of Frank Eugene Standley and Lola Nora Keller. George was 31 and this was his first marriage. Josephine did not give information on her first marriage, she reported that she had not been previously married. They were married by F E Fribley of Elkhart, Indiana.
Josephine A Standley was divorced from George E Standley on 23 Jan 1943 in Kalamazoo County, Michigan, There were no children.
Josephine Otto, age 47, married next on 25 Jun 1948 in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo County, Michigan, Stanley P Blodgett, age 42. He was the son of Freeman G Blodgett and Maud Preston. They were divorced on 22 Jun 1950.
Josephine A Otto died in Jun 1966
