Biography
About 1460 Janet Ouchterlony married David Ogilvy of that Ilk [1] and they had issueof a son and probably three daughters.
At Perth on 7 July 1493, David Ogilvy of that ilk and Janet Ouchterlony, his spouse, granted a charter to Robert Douglas of Lochleven of the lands of Fossoway. [2]
It is not discovered who her parents were but it is feasible that Janet was daughter to Alexander Ouchterlony of that ilk as David's father John Ogilvy of that Ilk was a member of the assize held at Arbroath on 24 April 1409 for the retour of Alexander as heir to his father William Ouchterlony in the lands of Meikle Kenny.[3]
