Biography

Benoni Ouellet was born and baptized on 7 Aug 1786 in Saint-Louis-de-Kamouraska parish, Province de Québec. He was the son of Julien Ouellet and Marie-Catherine Asselin. Godparents at Benoni's baptism were Michel Ouellet the younger and Marguerite Parent. At age 31 Benoni married Marie-Anne Bourgoin on 18 Nov 1817 in Saint-André-de-Kamouraska parish. He died on 11 Nov 1857 and was buried the next day in Sainte-Luce parish cemetery in Frenchville, Aroostook, Maine..
