Biography
Alfred Ouellet was born and baptized on 26 Jul 1854 in Saint-Arsène parish in Rivière-du-Loup. He was the son of Christophe Ouellet, carpenter, and Modeste Thériau of this parish. Godparents at Alfred's baptism were Henry Bliaut and Octavie Soucy. At age 22 Alfred married first wife Philomene Lafrance on 12 Feb 1877 in Saint-Arsène parish. Philomene died at age 24 on 17 Dec 1882. At age 29 Alfred married second wife Arthemise St-Pierre on 25 Feb 1884 in Saint-Arsène parish. Alfred died at age 54 on 19 Sep 1908 in Drummond, Victoria, New Brunswick.
