Marie Mathilde Ouellet was born and baptized on 5 Sep 1810 in Sainte-Anne parish in La Pocatiere, Kamouraska. She was the daughter of Antoine Ouellet, farmer, and Marie Anastasie Levesque of this parish. Sponsors at Marie Mathilde's baptism were Germain Ouellet and Marie Thecle Laduron. At age 22 Marie married Hilaire Bossé on 18 Feb 1833 in Riviere-Ouelle, Kamouraska. There were six known children born into this marriage. Marie Ouellet died at age 51 on 9 May 1863 in Kamouraska; she was buried in Mont-Carmel parish cemetery.
