Alfred was born in 1844, to parents Louis Ouellet and Charlotte Deslrosiers. (Desrosiers).
He married Esther Sicard on 27 Apr 1868 in Notre Dame du Mont Carmel, LaPasse, Renfrew, Ontario.
Esther's funeral records lists her husband as Alfred Ouellet, esq, physician.
