Biography

There is a John Freeman & wife( unnamed) are heirs in the estate settlement of Major Lewis Outlaw in 1808. However several of the Outlaw siblings are under age and under the guardianship of Edward C. Outlaw. This implies the wife of John Freeman who was unnamed would have been born about 1780. Furthermore, that John Freeman was living in 1808 and this profile of John Freeman clearly was deceased in 1784. They are not the same John Freeman.^[1]

Research Notes

There is no documentation that Sarah Outlaw married John Freeman. In fact, Sarah Outlaw(born ca 1708) married Mr. Wilkinson. She is witness to several Outlaw family deeds.^[2]
