Elizabeth Overend was born about 1682 quite probably in or near Fangfoss, a village between Stamford Bridge and Pocklington in East Yorkshire. This estimate is based on her marriage in 1701, the birth of her first child the following year and her death in 1758.
Thomas Oliver married Elizabeth Overend in Fangfoss in 1701, [1]
Thomas and Elizabeth Oliver baptised six children 1702-1718 in four villages very close together just east of Stamford Bridge. They may have owned a little land, or a parent may have been a minor landowner, but if so it was probably not enough as a sole source of income. Baptisms in Fangfoss, Bishop Wilton 3 times, Full Sutton and Skirpenbeck.
Elizabeth Oliver died in 1758 in Skirpenbeck: She was probably about 75. [2]
