Edith Marguerite Overend (married name Nicholas) was born in 1894 in Brunswick, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Martha Elizabeth (Farrell) Overend and George Best Overend.[1]

She married Frank Harold Nicholas in 1925 in Victoria.[2]
