Robert Overend (1796 to 1872), Wool comber and later a Cotton Warp Dresser; In 1817, at Kildwick, he married Sarah Petty (1796 to 1842) and later lived in Ingrow and then moved to Keighley town; after the death of Sarah, Robert married Judith Petty (1787 to 1852) from Sutton, who might even have been Sarah’s sister. Robert and Sarah had eight children.
