Mijn naam is voluit, Willem Herman Hendricus Johannes Overmars.
My full name is Willem Herman Hendricus Johannes Overmars. Iam born in an old part of Amsterdam named, the Eastern Islands, in the part named Wittenburg. This is a part of Amsterdam close to the Maritime Museum.

Iam very interested in Old Dutch family's and Nobily's pre 1500, using the sources of Nederlands Adelsboek, het Vaderlandsch Woordenboek, civil registration, Old proclamations and of course the Help of other wikiteers.
In my search of Ancestors, I have sourced this month several unsourced Ancestors, in a short periode, with thanks to some project leaders, what makes me very proud. I have made the biografy of Jan van Dolre including sources.
I have been in contact with: Bea Wijmans, Jan Terink, Astrid Spaargaren and Doug straiton. Thank you all, your the best.
Overmars (ch) was founded in 1995 by some enthusiastic amateur genealogists. One of the goals of the foundation is to publish the results and for that purpose the Board shall a newsletter twice a year. More over, it could be issued Overmars (ch) -book in 2009 under the title: "Overmars (ch) Three centuries of original Sallands families".
Apart from a few loose pieces of our particular file consists of nine not (yet) related families, coming from Raalte, Wijhe, Holten and Kampen.
The family foundation is no longer active.
I Will place them all on this site. I Will create free space with them, on Overmars Name Study

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.
Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.
Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

It has been a couple of weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the Connectors Project and as we haven't heard from you, we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member. We understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the branches they are currently building. If this is the case for you, please let us know. If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things for the moment and remove you from the project. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction. Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.
