Biography

Samuel was born in 1842. He was the son of John Overmier and Sarah Henricks. Private Samuel Overmier served during the Civil War in Company "D," 4th Regiment, Ohio Infantry. His original records were filed under Samuel Overmire.[1] He passed away in 1923, and was buried at Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center, Henry County, Ohio.[2]
