Martha was born March 4, 1826 in Clinton, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Samuel Owen and Martha Quinn.
A witness in Nashville to her husband's hanging.
Lived with her daughter, Ann Elizabeth Ferguson Metcalf and her family for decades. Martha never remarried, instead may have changed her surname from time to time. She and daughter and family lived in Kansas and then Oklahoma.
Martha passed away November 10, 1901 in Montgomery, Kansas. She was laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery, Elk City, Montgomery, Kansas, United States. [1]
