I hope you've been able to sort things out about the Wales project. I've got a Welsh ancestor, too, so I was interested when I saw the conversation.
Thank you for adding your DNA Test to your profile on WikiTree. Getting Started with DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.
DNA at WikiTree provides a visual way for you to find others who have tested and have the potential of having common ancestors. To get the best results, you need to continue adding sourced profiles for your ancestors until you can connect to existing profiles in WikiTree. If you have exhausted what you know on one line, try a different one. 24 hours after you connect to an existing profile, your test will have populated on the profiles of your ancestors and their descendants, where others with potential matches may also appear.

I’m not sure what you could or couldn’t see when Susie was checking in with you about Wales. I’m Lizzie and I’m going to be looking after new Wales Project Members for now, can I ask that you click on my name to go to my profile and click on the link to send me a private message?
Then we can get your Wales Membership sorted out 😃

I’ve still not heard back from you about your interest in the Wales Project so I’m going to assume you are no longer interested in joining at this time. You would be most welcome to join anytime in the future.

Did you see my earlier reply?
I sent you a private message a week ago regarding your interest in the Wales Project and have not yet heard back from you. Did you receive it? Please can you PM / e-mail me your e-mail address and team(s) selection so I can get you into the project? If I don’t hear from you by this time next week I’ll assume you no longer wish to join the project right now but you would, of course, be welcome to join at a later date.
Best wishes,
Susie :-)
As you have been a member of WikiTree for about a week now I thought I would check in to see how you are getting on with the site.
Has the New Member How-To been helpful or left you with any questions?

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one or more which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or special event. Review the project pages to learn how to collaborate with the project members.
Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

Since you confirmed as a full member I am happy to welcome you to the WikiTree community! To help save you time, energy and frustration, please start with our New Member How-To pages.
Click the green Tag on your profile page, you'll see others following the same things you are researching. The more Tags you add that include locations, periods of history or other genealogical interests, the more links to the community research options.
Please ask if you have any questions as I am always happy to help!

PS If you ever get a "Page Not Found" error when you click a link in a WikiTree email, you can usually find a functioning link in the public comments section of your profile page.
