Polk in 1850 census in later census name is James Madison, born ca. 1843; Nancy born ca. 1845; Mark Philips born ca. 1848; Mary (Polly) born ca. 1850; and Britton born ca. 1855.
Nancy died sometime after the 1880 Federal Census and before 1900.
